In my research of the secrets resorts I've been interested in (akumal, maroma) double bed rooms are not an option and there is a definite vibe towards couples. The point is look at all the info for resorts and don't trust how TA rates the resort compared to others. Even though TA rates this resort higher than RPDC, if you look at the traveller reviews/data RPDC has significantly higher ratings (81% vs 72% rated 5 star for example). Also a more traditional, hacienda-style decor and a smaller property that is easy to walk. I think you would be very comfortable at Capri. Capri has less of the "younger" crowd vibe with more couples and honeymooners that Silversands appeals to, and more a balanced vibe with both young and "more mature". For an adults only option we like Secrets for the quality, and for a Secrets property I'd look at Capri.
